Stephanie Stricklen, RN, CFNIP

I have been a Registered Nurse since 2011. My husband, who retired from the military in 2022 after 21 years of service, and I have been married for 19 years. We have 3 children, ages 16, 13, and 7, who keep us busy! 

We currently own and operate Hold Fast Wellness in beautiful China Spring, TX, just outside of Waco. We are firm believers in giving back to our community in many ways. Service to others is very important to our family. 

Throughout my career, I've held roles including Lead RN at a large pediatric practice, Clinical Director at an allergy & asthma office, and Nurse Consultant for a national company. In every position, I've been responsible for training colleagues to ensure best practices and for helping patients become better self-advocates. I believe that understanding the "why" and "how" of treatments increases overall results and care. 

Brittany Gohring, BSN, RN

I have been a Registered Nurse since 2010. I graduated with my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2009. Go Cru! My nursing specialty was previously in the Neonatal ICU for 15 years. 

I joined Hold Fast Wellness in January 2025. As I further my education, I look forward to acquiring additional skills and certifications to better serve our community.

I am committed to following strict protocols & evidence-based practice to ensure the BEST care for our patients. I have a passion for education and empowering my patients to be advocates for the best care. Making sure our patients understand the "why" and "how" is so important for successful outcomes!

Outside of nursing, I spend a lot of time with family and friends. My 3 boys (15, 13, & 3!) are very active in the China Spring community and are involved in multiple sports. You’ll likely find me out there supporting them and their friends.
